About the event
Let's take on the mighty Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK via the more challenging CMD Arete which is said to be the finest way to climb Ben Nevis! This truly spectacular and varied mountain day incorporates two Munros - Càrn Mòr Dearg and Ben Nevis and a traverse along the Arete which links the two Munros, which is considered a Grade 1 scramble. The hike is 11 miles with 1506m of ascent.

This is a tough mountain day with steep, rocky and complex terrain. There scrambling, a ridge traverse and also some very steep and loose scree to negotiate. This event is suitable for those with prior hillwalking experience.
